A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 am to 9 PM CST Friday.
Snow is expected to develop across the area by morning. Snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches will be common across the advisory area by Friday evening... which includes locations along and south of a northern Twin Cities to Eau Claire Wisconsin line. The higher snowfall amounts will likely be along a line from Durand to areas south of Eau Claire.
Snow will persist through the day on Friday... and gradually taper off on Friday evening.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
